iWorship Flexx how-to…

Written by Dale on October 15, 2008

Our newest product in the ‘Worship Tracks’ genre is iWorship Flexx.

Watch this video to learn more…

This is a product that can be found in our ‘motions’ category.  You may be familiar with the iWorship MPEG series which gives you full songs with the words on the screen to use in worship with 3 versions: Split, Click, and full song.

iWorship Flexx goes a step farther to let you customize the worship song even more.  Flexx songs still come with 3 full versions, but now they also come with a new folder of ‘FLEXX’ files.  These files (6-12 per song) are individual video files of the chorus and each verse separate.  This allows you to change up how the song is presented.  Say you want to repeat a chorus, well now you can and the visuals will match up!

Below is an image that shows an example of the files you get when you purchase a single song iWorship Flexx download. It comes with PDF guides and full and flexx version files…

I was just wondering, before I’d decide to purchase this, you mentioned a few of the worship programs you can use this with, like power point and Media Shout. Does it work with EasyWorship as well? I’m just wondering how it would differ from the normal way of displaying songs on EasyWorship, since iflexx is all movies and in Easyworship movies are entered in separately as background and the preview window only seems to interact with texts, not individual video files?
    I hope this makes sense.

  2. Dale Says:

Rob- You can use the files just fine in EasyWorship!

  3. Jenifer Says:

Do you sell the flexx videos in collections or are they all for individual download only?

These look really great by the way! Can’t wait to try them!

  4. Sean Says:

These look great, but I’m not sure I understand… Can you play these with just music and sing karaoke style with them? Or are the singers always heard if you choose to play the music?

  5. Steve Says:

Does this come with chord charts so I can play my guitar with the song?

  6. Eric Walker Says:

Could you explain to me how the click remains constant for my instrumentalists, while the visual changes? Also my sound man was doubtful this would work because of a delay he has experienced using easy worship. Your thoughts?

  7. George Salnave Says:

Does this work with Prologue from Grassroots?

  8. ALC Media Team Says:

Does this work with Song Show Plus? It would be AWESOME if so!!

  9. Suzanne Says:

I would also like to know if I WORSHIP FLEX works with Song Show Plus. Would be interested in purchasing some if it did.
    Thanks.

It should work fine with SongShow Plus. You could just put the videos in the program and fire them as needed with a nice quick fade or whatever to transition them.

Another solution would be to put up a blank slide with Background Improv as the background and fire the various song parts from the improv window.

These look great, and would love to use, but, we use MediaShout Express right now, and we have lag time between video clips if switched from one to the other. It would look bad if we tried it.

In this software used onscreen, the clips seems to smoothly blend into one another when the demo is displayed. Is this true for other people? Do others get this kind of blend of the videos/cross dissolve, live like that when presenting? I am curious, as the lag between clips has been an annoyance for us since we do have a bit of an older laptop running Shout. But, I anticipate a newer media setup in the future, so I am honestly curious to know if this really does blend like that in a live presentation.

Thanks for any info on that.

Can’I somehow create my own lyrics and put them in this program?

  13. Shelbie Says:

Is this compatible with power point? Has anyone tried it in Power point to know how well it works? Just curious before I purchase.

This looks amazing by the way. I guess I have the same concerns as Eric Walker. If a volunteer is cueing these, what are the chances that clicks will match up. Unless this was running on a live application audio engine like ableton live, the chances are pretty slim.. Are the various sections set up as a cue order where you click the next slide early and the program automatically syncs it up? If that was the case, this would be pretty cool.. Please advice…

I also would like to know if these come with chord charts or lead sheets. I have purchased several of the iWorship Flex collections and they do come with chord charts.

How does it work with EasyWorship?

  17. Robby Says:

It works well for me in EasyWorship. We normally use the full stereo mix. We have never used the click tracks though. I would assume that each click track (which is a section of song lyric) would be a separate item in your schedule, like a series of songs, that you would “go live” with at the appropriate times. I have played around with it and it seemed as though it should work. I’m using a MacBook pro with a Windows partition to run Easy Worship and have never had any issues.
