My Favorite New Video (or 2!)

Written by Marissa Jokisch on September 14, 2012

Hey friends,

We have a LOT of new videos on the site! Like 3 pages worth! If you haven’t checked them out yet, now’s your chance! See all of our new mini movies here.

My favorite new video is actually from a new producer definitely worth checking out, Freebridge Media. It’s called Thank You For Your Grace. I love this video. I think specifically because I feel just like the guy speaking. God has been so faithful and so unbelievably good to me, even in my darkest nights and my deepest struggles. I am so thankful for His grace. Watch the video below!

There are so many new videos that it’s hard to pick just one favorite! I also really like this new video by Valley Bible Fellowship, The Telegraph Job. What message is God trying to send you?

Question: What’s your favorite new video?

New Producer: Sundaes

Written by Luke Miller on November 8, 2011

We’re thrilled to introduce Sundaes, one of our newest producers at WorshipHouse Media. Kasey Allen, who serves on the staff of his local church, knows what churches are looking for week in and week out, and seeks to create beautiful work that leads people into moments of worship and helps teachers communicate in moving ways. Check out his new mini-movie, Bless the Lord (Oh My Soul), below. Check out his other mini-movies, countdowns and motions on the Sundaes producer page. Welcome to WHM, Sundaes!

New Producer: Adoption Media

Written by Luke Miller on November 1, 2011

We’re really excited to welcome Adoption Media to the WorshipHouse family of producers. Joshua Timmer, like all of our producers, is passionate about helping churches communicate the gospel in creative ways. He is also passionate about international adoption, and all of the money he earns on WorshipHouse will go toward the many expenses involved for he and his wife to adopt. Check out Adoption Media’s best-selling mini-movie, Amazing Grace, below. The video uses really cool visuals and typography to modernize the message of God’s Amazing Grace.

In addition to introducing three new producers, Dale and Luke talk about the latest news from Renewed Vision (makers of ProPresenter) and MediaShout, reference a 90s Christian alternative band, and pay homage to the artistic stylings of Bob Ross. 2 New Typography Videos

Written by Dale on February 23, 2011

I love the look of these new typography videos. This is a hard type of video to do well. The writing has to be good, the choice of font is very important, and of course the animation has to be right… it can’t be too fast or too slow. Two of our newest producers have tackled this type of video really well. Check them out and see if they would work in your church. Bonus for asking the design nerds in your audience what font they use!

Access brings Walk The Walk:

Another new producer Focus Media brings Why We Give, which has a focus on Missions. This would be perfect for reminding your church about the importance of your missionaries.

Welcome New Producer: Access

Written by Dale on January 26, 2011

Access is a new producer with a cool new mini-movie about shining your light. The imagery in this one is really cool with a lightbulb concept and great typography. Check it out HERE.

Also check out the football countdown they have which is perfect timing with the SuperBowl coming up:

How To Feel In America Today: New Small Group Short Film!

Written by Dale on January 18, 2011

Want to step outside the box? The New Short film (and it is a film at 36 minutes long) was made by passionate story tellers who love art. It is called How To Feel In America Today. This film is described as, “A 36-minute experimental short film dealing with abortion, anger, and compassion.”

I think this would be ideal to show as a movie event night for young adults (or really any adult group). Since it is only 36 minutes it will allow you time to have discussion afterwords. You can see the powerful (and artfully designed) PDF download on the product page to get a feel for the discussion questions.

This film is not afraid to present tough questions about a topic that is tough to address. And yet it still manages to do it in a very non-confrontational way. I guess that is amazing power of telling a good story. This film looks at the story of two women, but does a great job of telling a bigger story about compassion and justice in regards to how we treat other humans.

Check out the Trailer HERE and if you feel like you need to see the full 36 minute film we can send you a low res screener to help you decide before you buy. We think this would be great for your church to show in a small groups setting and spark discussion. Let us know what you think!

New Year’s Seasonal Store Is Open!

Written by Dale on December 28, 2010

Need a fun/upbeat/inspirational/challenging/younameit New Year Video? Get it in the New Year’s Seasonal Store!

For example Check out FRESH START by Dunnlights. It was a best seller last year because it does a great job of reminding us that we are taken care of even when we feel stuck and need a fresh start. Plus it features a turtle so you got to love that ! (Unless you are like Luke who hates snakes and most other animals with a snake like face).

New for 2010 Floodgate brings 3 really cool new videos… I really like them all so you will have to go watch them and see which one is your favorite.

Let us know in the comments which one you liked, or used, or even didn’t’ like. We love to hear your opinion.
