Great customer comment this week

Written by Dale on January 28, 2010

I loved this customer comment on The Living Nativity by the Skit Guys. It is so true!

Jon Usborne writes…

I never comment on these things, but this is amazing work. I absolutely love the comedy and realism this has. We need more of this in media today. Not in “Christian Media”, in media in general. Phenomenal.

Customer Comment of the Week

Written by Dale on November 30, 2009

Christmas In  A Nutshell by Dan Stevers is a fabulous mini-movie and it has been getting a lot of comments from customers.  I love reading how people could use a video.  In this week’s customer comment of the week Jim talks about how he can see it relating to many in his church. To clarify, in his first sentence he is suffering to another commenter.  See all the comments here. Let us know what you think by leaving a comment on this blog, or add your own to the video’s page.

Jim Hays writes:

I don’t understand “a little trivial,” Daniel. When was the Incarnation ever trivial? Great job on this video guys: upbeat, visually engaging, humorous (loved “not to scale”) and theologically sound. The unchurched, the new believers and the kids in my church may get as much or more from this video as from my sermons, so it’s also a great Christmas sermon in a nutshell!

Customer Comment of the week

Written by Dale on November 11, 2009

I thought this comment was interesting because it reminded me of how we all have different tastes.  People have been raving about the great music on the video START SMALL by Shift Worship, but not everyone loves it…

From Customer Lee:

“Wonderful message…but the song… at least to me makes it unusable… find another song that fits better”

What do you think? Does the song fit for your church? What if it didn’t fit would you still use the video?

Side note: if you do like the music producer Shift Worship has created a whole website based on the positive feedback of the music. The original song was written and recorded by Riley Friesen and the band Staggerford. This song, along with other Shift Worship music, is available for download at ShiftTones.com

Customer comment of the week

Written by Dale on September 8, 2009

We will be featuring some customer comments on the blog.  Some videos get more comments than others, but we love reading them and most of them are actually really productive at helping other viewers to get some feedback on how it could be used or how other churches have responded to it.

So without further rambling from me, I bring you this week’s customer comment (you know of course I had to pick one that makes us look good!)

From Deb Everest on “Prayer Intro” by Dan Stevers:

Beautifully done. I can see my church using this next time we have a focus on prayer.  Thanks for creating something that will be thoughtful and reflective in worship. Sometimes it is the sermon, not the mini-movie, that is the big-impact item. The movie just starts it off. Reading the other reviews I am struck anew that what works for some doesn’t for others. I am glad this site has a wonderful variety of amazing mini-movies. I am almost always guaranteed to find something I can use.
