Creative Worship Slides

Written by Luke Miller on January 22, 2013

Working for WorshipHouse, I get to see a lot of beautiful media. It’s one of the best parts of my job.

Recently, while surfing the Church Stage Design Ideas blog, I stumbled across some incredible worship slides from the Stillwater Campus of LifeChurch.tv. I love what they’re doing with lyric slides – what a creative way to use type and space – and I hope you find this as inspirational as I do. (An aside: if you’re unfamiliar with ChurchStageDesignIdeas.com, go check them out and spend an hour or two – or three or four – being inspired.)

Worshippers’ Perspective #19

Written by Luke Miller on November 20, 2012

After a little bit of a break, Worshippers’ Perspective is BACK! We love sharing these photos and hope that you’re inspired by how churches big and small, traditional and contemporary, local and international, are using media in their ministry.

This photo comes from Church 360 in Saipan. How cool to know that our Worship Tracks are being used to enhance worship thousands of miles from our offices! Here they’re using Lead Me to the Cross from iWorship.

The latest installment of Worshippers’ Perspective comes from Oak Pointe Church in Novi, Michigan. They’re using Organic Videos’ Cross Sunrise 2 as a backdrop for worship. We love seeing our stuff in action!

Worshippers’ Perspective #17

For those who serve in media ministry, your number one goal is to use visual media to connect worshippers to the object of their worship, and to help teachers tell the message of Jesus. It’s our hope that these photos from churches around the world will inspire you as you catch a glimpse of what those you serve are seeing.

This photo comes from First Baptist Church of Blue Springs, MO. They’re using three screens to project The Stand from iWorship. So great to see this in action!

Worshippers’ Perspective #16

Our sixteenth Worshipper’s Perspective comes from Next Level Church in Tarpons Springs, FL. This photo comes from their Service of Remembrance on the tenth anniversary of 9/11. Here they’re using a still from Grace in Media. We love how they have combined set design and their screens to create an integrated visual experience.

Worshippers’ Perspective #15

Written by Luke Miller on October 20, 2011

This week’s Worshippers’ Perspective comes from the other side of the globe (at least for those of us in the US). Stephen Proctor (WorshipVJ) sent these to us from a service he VJ’ed at Watermark Community Church on Hong Kong Island. The stills are part of a Stations of the Cross project that we look forward to getting on the site soon! We love to see how people are able to use media to create a worship environment even in a room with basic screens and low ceilings.

Worshippers’ Perspective #14

The latest installment of Worshippers’ Perspective comes from Central Baptist Church in Owasso, Oklahoma. They brought in a 24ft screen for their Easter service, and here you see their worship team singing in front of Igniter’s Song Track, Here is Our King, a cool visual interpretation featuring lyrics and music from the David Crowder Band song. Well done!
